两样东西，一个赢家：比较级就是比较它们。短词加 -er，长词前面加 more，千万别把两者混在一起。
什么是比较级？

比较级比较两样东西，并说明其中一个比另一个多：faster, cheaper, better。短词加 -er；长词借来 more；几个有名的捣蛋鬼完全变样。
短词：-er

加 -er 通常很容易——除非单词以 e、y 或双辅音结尾。三条规则就全搞定了。
直接加 -er
大多数单词，无需变化
fast → faster · old → older · tall → taller
只加 -r
以 e 结尾的单词
nice → nicer · large → larger
双写辅音
以辅音-元音-辅音结尾的短词
big → bigger · hot → hotter · thin → thinner
-y 变成 -ier
辅音 + y 之后
happy → happier · easy → easier
⚠️ 不规则词，完全没有规则：good → better, bad → worse。

陷阱：双重比较、漏掉 -er，以及长词用错形式。找出它们，改掉它们，继续前进。
