“Excuse me, can you help me find [item]?”
- “Excuse me, can you help me find a pipe wrench?”
- “Excuse me, can you help me find PVC cement?”
“Which aisle are the [item] in?”
- “Which aisle are the paint brushes in?”
- “Which aisle are the light switches in?”
- “I need a thing that connects two pipes at a right angle.”(就是弯头)
- “I'm looking for a small clip that holds wires against the wall.”(电线夹)
- “Do you have a tool for cutting ceramic tiles without electricity?”(手动瓷砖切割机)
1. Identify Need
→
2. Find Aisle
→
3. Ask Staff
→
4. Purchase

- “Cut this two-by-four to 48 inches, please.”
- “I need to measure twice before I cut.”(常听的老话)
- “I think I stripped the screw.”(螺丝头被磨掉,钻机抓不住)
- “The pipe is leaking at the joint.”
- “This paint isn't covering the old color. I need a primer.”
- “Can you hold this while I drill?”
- “Does this look level to you?”
- “Should I use drywall anchors for this shelf?”
Is this shelf level? |
| Pilot hole |
