4. Talking to Patients: Softening the Message

牙科门诊往往让人紧张。用柔和的语言可以安抚患者。

• Instead of：“You have a big cavity.”
  Say： “I can see a small area of decay that we should take care of soon.”

• Instead of：“This will hurt.”
  Say： “You might feel some pressure. Raise your hand if you need a break.”

• Instead of：“You don’t floss enough.”
  Say： “I notice a little inflammation here. Regular flossing can help a lot.”

这就是牙科英语真正的沟通。不是大词堆砌，而是合适语气、恰当用词。
