Rutinas Diarias: De Mañana a Noche
“Time to wake up / get up”
Usa wake up para abrir los ojos y get up para levantarte del cama.
"Sweetie, time to wake up. The sun is shining."
“Brush your teeth / hair”
Sencillo pero fácil de confundir.
"Don't forget to brush your teeth before school."
“Put on / take off your clothes”
Estos verbos compuestos confunden a muchos aprendices.
"Put on your jacket. It's cold outside."
"Take off your shoes at the door."
“Finish your plate / Eat up”
Aliento en la hora de comer.
"Can you finish your plate? Just three more bites."
“Time for bed / Lights out”
El señal para dormir.
"Lights out in five minutes. Pick one story."
“Use your words”
"I know you're upset, but use your words. Tell me what happened."
“Be gentle / Be careful”
Clave para la seguridad sin asustarles.
"Be gentle with the baby. She's very small."
"Be careful on the stairs."
“No hitting / No yelling”
Límites claros.
"We don't hit in this house. Use your words."
“Calm down / Take a deep breath”
Para regular las emociones.
"Let's both take a deep breath. Okay, now tell me."
“Time out”
Usa con moderación, pero sepáralo.
"You need a time out. Sit here for two minutes."
“Take turns / Share with your sister”
Habilidades sociales.
"It's your turn now. Then share with your brother."
“Let's build / draw / paint”
Estimulación creativa.
"Let's build a castle with blocks."
"What are you drawing? Is that a dinosaur?"
“Good job / Well done / You did it!”
"You tied your shoes all by yourself? Well done!"
“What does this say?”
Para leer juntos.
"Let's read this page. What does this word say?"
“Count with me”
Los números son victorias fáciles.
"Count with me. One, two, three — ready, set, go!"
“He's teething / Her first tooth came in”
"She's been crying a lot. I think she's teething."
“Potty training / Use the toilet”
"We started potty training last week."
“He has a fever / She's coughing”
"He has a fever since last night. 38.5 degrees."
“The doctor said…”
"The doctor said it's just a cold. No medicine needed."
“How was school today?”
La verificación diaria.
"How was school? Did you make any new friends?"
“Time to eat.” “Let's wash your hair.” “One more story.”
