Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about our platform, Premium subscription, and verified certificates.

English Measure is an independent online English assessment platform that measures your language proficiency (Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking) based on the CEFR standard.

The Premium Plan grants you full access to all practice exercises, daily AI-powered feedback on your speaking and writing tests, and unlimited access to talk show and podcast audio recordings.

When you complete a full language assessment, you receive an English Measure certificate containing an overall CEFR level and section breakdowns. Each certificate is printed with a unique 11-character code. Anyone (e.g., employers or schools) can verify its authenticity by entering this code on our Certificate Verification page.

Yes, we offer a 14-day conditional refund guarantee. If you haven't used any premium AI quota or accessed premium talk shows/podcasts, you can request a full refund.

Yes, as long as you log in with your English Measure account, you can use your Premium subscription on your computer, tablet, or mobile devices simultaneously.

Your subscription automatically renews based on your selected billing cycle (monthly or yearly). You can cancel your subscription at any time with a single click from your profile settings. After cancellation, you will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

Our certificates are designed based on the globally recognized CEFR standards. While official institutions (such as universities or government agencies) have their own specific acceptance criteria, you can confidently use your certificate on your CV, LinkedIn profile, job applications, and portfolios to prove your English proficiency.

The Basic PDF certificate is completely free, does not require strict supervision during the test, and does not contain a verification code. The Verifiable PDF certificate is available for a one-time fee ($1); it is generated only under much stricter and more secure testing conditions (monitoring tab switching and focus loss to prevent cheating) and includes a unique 11-character verification code that allows third parties or employers to officially verify your results on our website.

Once you receive your certificate, you can easily add it to your LinkedIn profile by clicking the 'Add to LinkedIn' button on your profile page, or by manually entering the certificate name, issuing organization (English Measure), credential ID (your 11-character verification code), and the verification URL in the 'Licenses & Certifications' section.
